Plastic Spur Gears – POM & MC Nylon, Module 0.5 to 3
Plastic spur gears POM and MC Nylon, module 0.5 to 3, 20° pressure angle. Lightweight, quiet, no lubrication needed. Ideal for food, medical, and light automation. Custom bore.
Description
Plastic spur gears are lightweight, quiet, and run without lubrication — making them a popular choice for food processing equipment, packaging machinery, printers, medical devices, and light-duty automation.
Available in modules 0.5 to 3, 20° pressure angle, in two materials:
- POM (Polyacetal / Delrin®) — Low friction, high wear resistance, good dimensional stability. Best for general-purpose plastic gear applications.
- MC Nylon (Cast Nylon / MC901) — Higher strength and impact resistance than POM. Suitable for heavier loads and higher operating temperatures.
Standard configurations include straight bore and bore+tap. Plastic gears are typically paired with steel or stainless steel mating gears for optimal wear characteristics.
Custom bore diameters and tooth counts available. No minimum order quantity.
