Description
Gear racks (linear racks) convert rotary motion into linear motion when paired with a spur gear pinion. Commonly used in CNC machines, automation gantries, machine tool feeds, and material handling systems.
Available in modules 0.5 to 3, in 1045 carbon steel and 304 stainless steel. Standard pressure angle 20°. We machine racks to your specified length, with or without mounting holes. Tolerances held to AGMA Q8–Q10 depending on requirements.
Custom options include: non-standard lengths, drilled/tapped mounting holes, black oxide or electroless nickel surface treatment, and matching pinion gears manufactured to the same module and pressure angle.
